Hi there! I’m Shaun, your host. Originally from a town just outside London, I made the move to Japan over 30 years ago. I used to live in Kamiooka with my wife, but nearly two years ago, I relocated to Konanchuo. Shortly after arriving in Japan, I started working at Panasonic (formerly Matsushita) as the Kanto coordinator for language training. Although I’m now retired, I was once a certified examiner for a prominent Japanese testing organization, where I evaluated young learners’ academic English proficiency.
